How we grade

A consistent inspection

We inspect under clear, even lighting and rotate the device to check the screen, rails, corners, ports, buttons, back panel and camera surround.

Reflections, dust and fingerprints are not counted as cosmetic damage.

What the grade tells you

A1, A2, B1 and B2 describe exterior cosmetic condition only. Battery health, functionality and network status are separate checks; refer to the individual listing for those details.
